I see a lot of builders laying their tape on the top of their building tables. The problem with this is the side of your tape will pick up all the trash on your table and then when you apply the tape to your models surface...well you get the point. To rectify this problem, use a tape dispenser, you tape will be cleaner and you will get more crisp edges. Note that I keep the original and delicate versions of tape in my dispenser.
