(I shortened my gear doors and haven't repainted yet) This pic shows the BLIND ROLL PIN (!!) that hold this axle housing on the strut. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this. Ultimately I had to thread the center of the roll pin, install a 4-40 bolt and them beat the sh*t ou of the housing to get it to come out. You'll see I redesigned it.
