To ensure that the servo connection doesn't get disconnected I slip over the connection point a length of heat shrink tubing.

I've installed one end of the extension to my aileron servo, the opposite end of the extension is inserted into my servo tester. A battery is powering the tester. I wiggle each wire terminal to make sure of good positive connection. This servo tester can center your servo. or it can be set to manually control the servo by the black knob on the tester. This servo tester will also "burn-in" your servos by continuously cycling the servo from one end point to the other indefinitely.

Heat was applied and now I have a connector that is secured. In the future, should you need to separate the connector. a razor blade will easily slice through the heat shrink.

I've stripped off 1/8" insulation off each wire end. Here's a close up of a properly crimped (male) connector. Be sure to twist the wire ends before crimping. Note that there are two crimps, one securing the terminal to the wire insulation and the second to the stripped bare wire.

I know you all have been curious as to the weight of this plane. If you remember back when I first started on this build, my target weight was 14-16 pounds. I later revised that to a target of 17 pounds...well 17 it is! Check out the lateral balance, no additional weight needed!

This is my first time using Gorrilla Glue. If you've never used this product before, you spread the glue on one side of the board, and lightly mist (with water) the other side of the mating board. In a few minutes time it will foam-up and fill any void between your boards. In my case I needed five foam boards to achieve the thickness I was looking for.

Next comes the shaping (and sanding) of what will be the plug for the windscreen. This is an absolute mess with all of the foam sticking/clinging to everything!

It's a messy affair, be forewarned, but it did do an excellent job of bonding the foam bords together. You will also clamp the boards together as the expanding foam will try to push all of your board out of alignment.
